The African Research and Resource Forum (ARRF) is a non-governmental, non-partisan, not-for-profit international organization, which was established in 2002 as a research, data resource, reflection and policy debate institution devoted to the resolution of the most difficult governance and development issues confronting policy-makers and societies in Eastern and Horn of Africa. It links scholars, researchers, opinion leaders and public service functionaries to interact and share ideas.The Forum also facilitates the evolution of a regional activists and institutions.

ARRF plays a major role in supporting efforts to integrate African economies, protecting Africa’s resources and promoting governance structures conducive to political stability in culturally-diverse societies that often cut across borders.

ARRF was registered in Kenya under the Companies Act (Cap.486) of the Laws of Kenya as a “company limited by guarantee and not having share capital” in March 2003.
